Hello from Oregon
Hey All,
My apologies for the double post as I originally posted in the sticky intro thread, but I get the impression that starting a new thread in this section is standard practice. I won't repeat everything that I posted up already. Basically my wife and I had been talking about obtaining a roadster for a while. Ended up with exactly what I had been hoping for: a S2000 of course — more specifically a clean, stock, low-mileage 2005 model in Grand Prix White with Tan interior. I'm looking forward to learning more about this car and how to properly care for it here on the forum.
I'd like to thank anyone who is involved in keeping this forum up and running.

Looks good. The classiest color combo for S2000 in my opinion.

A belated thank you to everyone who has taken the time to welcome me here. I even got to meet Ken not too long ago (a good guy who offered up his knowledge regarding the S2000 if needed and who personally oversees the maintenance of S2000s that come into the local Acura dealership he works at.)
Thanks Gojeran. If someone had told me that white over black & tan would turn out to be my favorite combination on this particular car before I actually saw what it looked like I would have doubted them. Bright silver over red or bright red over black are a couple of classic combinations that come to mind when I think of a "sports car". White over black & tan, well maybe not quite so much. The tie-in with Honda's racing heritage when it comes to the Grand Prix White is fun, but wouldn't mean much if I didn't care for the way it looked on the car. This particular color combo has only grown on me more since owning the car. (One bonus that I really like is how the tan leather tends to really highlight the air passthrough in the headrests which I think is really nice looking detail.) I'm also a big fan of the silverstone over black combo as well.

Yeah that is definitely a beautiful color combination and I generally do like tan interior but man I'm a bit jelly, love the white so much! Where abouts in Oregon are you if you don't mind me asking. You mentioned seeing the posting for the 2003 with 5800 miles in salem (where I live).
