i meant to ask this to you, why would you say not to for a daily? you say it get's boring. False sense of performance? or the fun of it just wears off?

thanks
i think i just got used to cars a bit more low end torque and the lack of constant shifting and keeping the engine on boil to make it go. I love driving it on weekends but so many cars are nearly just as fast, that the acceleration no longer does it for me. Look at these rediculous family cars running in the 14s, v6 accord, g35, avalon, altima, maxima... i guess its a horsepower race.

just out of curiousity how old are you that they thought you weren't even remotely serious?

s2k i can see not doing a test drive, the s2ks around here are all showroom cars, probably the same way with the other cars here, they really don't do test drives because they keep 'em in the showroom.

sti i'd think would be a bit different though

S2k
350z
Audi TT
Solstice

If you have personal experiences with any of the above, please help me out.

I am almost for sure going S2k as i like what i have been reading on these forums all winter.

My problem is that the retarded dealers in my area will not let me take the cars on test drive as they think i just want to sit in them, i was actually asked not to waste a guys time when i went in to ask for info on the Sti.

I like the s2k as i drove my buddies for a couple days in the summer and would love my own.

So to make things easier, why would i go with one of the above over an s2k, or why should i stick with the s2k over one of them.

Thanks very much, this will be a great help
S2K - Highly recommend.
350z - one one every block
Solstice - 1. it's ugly, 2. it's a lady car
STI - with a wing that big why doesn't it fly?
Audi - maybe, but I'd rather have a BMW or Porche.

solstice... come on its a pontiac, some pontiacs are fast but its still a pontiac .
I really hate this phrase. People say the same about the S2000 being just a Honda. But it's certainly no family car.
