Hey guys, my name is Frank and i just bought an 01 S2000. ive loved these cars for along time so i figured i would finally take the plunge. i bought the car from a friend of mine as you see it now. i have some plans for it, but for now its perfect for my need, daily driving and track days in the summer. the car has a welded in hard dog bar, rpf1s with RS3s and ksport coils. I used to have a big turbo sti i used to take to the circuit, and this thing is probably just as fun, if not more fun. this forum has a ton of info so ill be here lurking trying to absorb all i can. here are some pics of the car as it sits now. more to come!

I'm sure you will enjoy driving the S even more on track compared to the STI.
Although those STI's have some of the nicest exhaust notes, I still think the driving experience doesn't offer nearly as much as the S2000.

yea my sti was very fast on track, but it doesnt compare to the feel the s2000 gives back, even if it is a tic slower. with time and experience i should get this thing going just as fast, if not faster. i think what i like the most about it is its reliability. i can drive it to the track, pound on it, then drive it home
