Default Hi all.

So, I just bought a 2001 from a mechanic friend. It's been parked in his garage for 7 to 9 years. Something happened in his life where he would no longer have garage space to store it so he offered it to me for $12.5k. I felt like I couldn't pass it up so I bought it. He says he built the motor and trans (I believe him), has that turbo with that computer so you can decide to run it or not, turbo timer, coilovers, alternator from an Odyssey, larger radiator, etc... He told me something about the fuel system but I can't remember exactly. He does have pigtails on the injector plugs to run different types of injectors. The bad... the paint is ****ed. He sanded and plasti dipped it, everywhere. The convertible top is gone. I don't know what he was doing on the hood and there's the hideous gauge install on the center console. Hardtop is aftermarket. What have I gotten myself into?

Washed it and started peeling the plasti dip. God it's everywhere. I'm pretty sure I will be completely disassembling this thing down to the body to be painted.

Question, if I'm looking for the complete convertible top assembly will any AP1 work? Are they all identical?
