Default Hi from "The D" - well, suburbs actually :)

Hi everyone

Since 2014 I live in “Pothole Capitol of the US” – Detroit Metro, originally I'm from Poland, on a job assignment in the US. Bad thing about Detroit Metro - potholes and (mostly) straight line roads. Good thing - we have a lot of really cool cars around

Bought my NFR 2004 S2000 in July 2017 from an older gentleman, original owner, with all service records, all paperwork, complete set of keys.
It had 54k miles, not modified, completely stock, it had some paint chips and small dents here and there, but after some hand polishing it looks great. For now I plan to keep it stock.

I considered other cars (Mustang, 370Z, BRZ/FRS) but all of them felt kind of heavy and big, or underpowered (FRS). I wanted a real sports car, always liked S2000, and after first test drive in 2016 (it was AP1) I knew that was it, after second test drive (AP2) I was hooked, and just waited for the right one to get.

I had various motorcycles back in Europe, and S2000 reminds me a lot of superbike on 4 wheels. I just love how direct and focused this car is, and hard to drive slow Funny thing is – I was never a convertible type of guy, always preferred 2 door coupes or hatchbacks, but S2000 is just different, and I love the open top experience.

And I mean – just look at her, just look….

Welcome, the s2000 group in the Detroit area hasn't done a bunch of get togethers in the past few years, but we're hopeful for this year. Also check out the michigan group on nsx prime, they do a lot of drives and S2000s and everything else is always invited. Also, look into Rock the Dragon in May, it's a blast.

Thanks!
Yeah, actually there are not many S2000's in the area. Summer weekends you could see one, maybe two cruising Woodward.
It's much easier to meet Lambo, Ferrari or Bentley than S2000, which actually makes her even more special

Welcome man! I also live in Metro Detroit. I'm going to organize a meet when the weather improves.

My S2K sleeps in my garage currently.....

S2K's in the D are super rare.

Welcome to the gangbang man!
