Hey all, the name is Garret and I'm from Calgary, AB.

So last spring I made the tough decision to sell my 07 WRX to get out of payments and pay off my credit cards. Bought an 02 Tundra with the intention of buying a toy this spring, was eyeing 90's mr2 turbo t-tops. Well, the market for those has sucked this year, and I've always loved the s2000. The Tundra will make a great winter/camping steed, so I needed something fun (man have I missed rowing my own gears). I had a 99 Si with some stuff done to it and it was an amazing car for what it was, made me a Honda fan. Decided to look for one, and found my 2003 GPW with tan interior.

My old WRX, loved this car year round. Almost bought a 2015 WRB before pulling the trigger on the s2k.



And my Civic, had a full stereo, CAI, exhaust, lip kit and 17's. I thought it was pretty clean.



And my new baby. It's bone stock outside of a 2ch amp and speakers/headunit. Very clean, had it checked out and bought it. Haven't had a chance to clean it and use my good camera, but here it is:













I'll update this when I get a chance to wash and detail it.

As for now, I've got some plans for it. First will be to swap out the 2ch amp for a 4ch and add a sub. Nothing crazy, just to add some lowend. I'm watching the classifieds for an intake and exhaust, some 18's, and that will do for this year. Also looking for a front lip, sides and a rear diffuser. Thinking the white/CF look possibly. A year or 2 down the road I'll be looking to add boost. Not sure if I'll go TC or SC. Leaning towards SC at the moment for price and reliability, but I've got research to do before I make that decision.

Loving the car, thought I'd stop by and say hi. Any groups in Calgary?

I've had everything looked over thoroughly and already did some things on the list. I'll continue to plug away at them. Wouldn't buy without a pre-purchase inspection and compression test!
