Default Hi, new here, gonna buy a used S2000

Hi I'm new here. I'm buying a used s2000 with 87000 miles on it. It is a 2005 GPW, with very little done to it except Megan Racing Street Series coilovers.

I hope I can learn more about the car with you guys here. Been reading alot about the car on the forum already and decided to join finally.

I am in Las Vegas.

Post some pictures! Stock GPW's are getting harder and harder to find.

We're in the middle of making a deal, but if you look for LERRY, it is that car.

Unfortunately, there are certain things i'm concerned about....

its missing front fender liners, and its been rolled on all 4 corners per his ad.

I do plan on some enkei 17x9 et45, which i read on this forum, I would need the rolled fenders....
But I would really want the fender liners in place...because of electrical wires and rock/sand/mud/rain.

What do you think?

You are talking about the front fender liners missing, right? The s2000 doesn't have rear liners.

If the fronts are missing, I would want to replace them.

front fender liners are missing for sure, rear I believe are in place. Will be seeing the car again in daylight in the coming day.
The car also has the Forbidden Mugen Style Hardtop, interior trim piece by the door hinge area is missing, and according to the owner,
that piece he still has, but must not be installed while the hardtop is on...

Is that right? Are all aftermarket hardtops require the door hinge area trim piece to be removed?

Just bought the car.

Now on to restoring certain things to OEM standard.

I had to raise the car up today with the coilovers, changed the height setting to almost as high as I could get the coilovers to go. Had problems going up the driveway into the garage with the low setting.

Trying to replace the fender liners and the liner that goes under the front lip,

A shop in town said i need to go to honda dealership to get the parts/screws.

I looked it up online for the fender liners, but i have no idea how many of each type of screws or clips i would need.
