My name is Nish patel, recently purchased some1's project that im currently parting out as much as i can get back to stock or as close to stock as possible.
Always wanted s2k, finally got it, was hoping it didnt as many issues as it did, but its life it goes on.. i will fix as i source the parts out slow and steady as i m in no rush for it...
only goal with this car is to try and do one track day with and see how i like it compared to my 2 miatas and the 350z... attached is the pic of the current project.

 

Johns old car huh? welcome! Just curious, what issues was it having? Does that car have an upgraded diff?

 

Yes sir, that is correct, its johns old car... he mentioned he was having misfire on one cyl... after radiator exploded.... they put new radiator in but were multiple random issues...
long story short... Headgasket is shot.... cylinder 1 and 3 valve guide seals were shot..and leaking.. 1/3/4 can use valve lash adjustment... suspension is kind of garbage.. mismatch coils.. but no big deal as i was planning on changing suspension up 2... and b4 some1 says i was sold a lemon.. john disclosed everything he could to best of his knowledge so no harm done there...
and diff is stock.

 

Ah, I don't know a whole lot about it so no comment here. I've seen the car a few times and it looks damn good. Good luck with fixing the issues.
