Hope to be a new future s2k owner
Sup! Hope to get along with you guys. I just thought I should join up and get to learn about the car I'm planning to invest on.
I've been driving my 1999 mustang for awhile now and hope to get a new car sometime in the spring or summer depends when I get the money for the car. I had a list of cars to replace my mustang but in the end the Honda s2000 was my best bang for the buck, and most reliable.
Now I live in Edmonton and saw the price differences, from Canada and from the States. I found that the States has the s2ks for ALOT cheaper.
Would it be worth the hassle to drive back from the states and import the car? I did some research and I'm looking for a s2000 2002+ for under 16k however I saw some sites on the web saying there are emissions tests and inspections that had to be done. Which roughly costs around 1-6k?
So what I mean to say is, are they telling the truth?
