The 2000 models have plastic windows, weak differentials, weak clutch, and have a reputation of burning oil. Keep that in mind when negociating and investigating.

I would negociate for $12k.

I dont mind the plastic window one bit, I wont be adding any HUGE power adders to it (if anything, intake and exhaust), clutch is meh, not a HUGE deal since it should hold to stock power no prob (right?), but burning oil? How big of a deal is it really, I havent heard too much about this really. I know it cant be like RX8 bad, right?

The buzz youre talking about is the clutch buzz. Its an annoyance more than anything, nothing really wrong with the car.

I think it's a good deal. It's a little high on the odometer, I'd say have someone look at it, compression test, inspect the covert top, etc all the usual stuff, and if it checks out, go for it.
how do you figure its "high on the odometer" 65k miles is fairly low and very good for an '00... shouldnt say high until you get into the 80k's, and thats still not that high

for the"high on the odometer "
I heard that the F20C has less life time than other Jap cars. in most of the case the engine broken down at less than 200K kms.

My baby currently ran out 30K kms only so I won't know until the day it runs around that much.

I just bought my Silver 2001, red interior, AEM V2 intake and only 55k miles. Mine was $16.5 tax, tags and title.

thats not that great of a deal. look into buying from a private seller. i picked up my 03 with 30k for $18.5. i bought it sept. 2006 and it is absolutely mint. keep looking and you will find a better deal.
