Howdy....
Well, first and foremost....the name is Joe. In my career of owning cars, I've had a handful. The highlights of which: 84 Mustang GT Turbo(yes the turbo 4), 91 Integra GS, and my current 96 v6 Accord. The Integra sold me on the Honda brand from the start. I just couldn't get over how quick one can get them with little effort and destroy cars with twice/triple the displacement.
I picked up my 2000 AP1 S2K yesterday, June 1st 2013. On the drive back from Austin, yes I am in Texas, I fell in love with the car and have decided it shall be my daily driver where my Accord is just the family go getter. I managed to obtain the Silver beauty for only 13k with 59495 miles on it....I know, I stole it and I sure as hell aint giving it back
Now a little about me, I'm a 31 year old father of three girls with full custody of one. Money is limited, but I do want to invest in this car like I did with my Accord. Now with the Accord, she's just a all show and slight go car. 3k watts in the trunk, 19" Motegi(spelling) rims, a cold air intake and a full exhaust back to a single tip. She sounds nice, but the 4 speed auto kills it entirely.
The S2K I picked up was completely stock, and I'm already wanting an exhaust. Now I'm not sure if I should go with a single tip, or unless that was for turbos/ed, or put some mufflers at the end like you do on any other import. The cold air will be in about two weeks since I'm awaiting on taking a deadbeat mother to court for support lol. Well, I shall be browsing and commenting here and there....and of course I'll be asking dumbass questions every so often.
