I have always liked the S2000, but never could afford something as nice as that, and it was sadly out of reach.
Fast forward 5+ years and I am in the market for a brand new sports car... I was considering a 2011 5.0, C6 Corvette, 370z. I didn't really think about an S2k at first because they stopped making them a few years back, and I was looking for a brand new car.
Well I was on Autotrader just clicking around bored one night when I came across my now new (to me) S2k. It is an 05 NFR with 9,600 miles on the clock. First thing I though was this is probably some salvaged chop shop rebuild, and at $19k had to be too good to be true. After a THOROUGH inspection and test drive, it turns out this Doctor bought it back in 05 and only lives 5 miles from his practice, and rarely drove it. Needless to say I was at the bank an hour later because if I was not going to but this, someone else was.
This thing is MINT and I could not be happier to be owning one of the purest driving cars I have ever driven.

Congtarts on your new S! That poor S must have felt like a caged animal with that Dr. as the owner. I don't know how people can resist driving the S when they own one. I hope you get out there & put some miles on her. Enjoy & welcome.
