Heh, well first I need to get my car ready to sell. Drove a 350Z, it was nice but I prefered the S2k. I have fallen in love with the full red interior, unfortunately it is fairly hard to find!

Do people sell / swap interior colors at all? I'm guessing no

You could buy a berlina black w/blk interior and swap the seats? Most people perfer a more neutral color for their interior, which excludes red. I actually passed up a couple cars due to a non black interior. I only want black regardless of the exterior color. There are many more people out there like me so hopefully someone will leave behind a red interior for you.

Good luck with the car shopping. Hell, you could make an even stupider decision, health wise, and buy an R1 like I did shortly after graduation...but it was a lot cheaper than an S.

So, now I have a choice to make!

At a local carmax, there is a MY2000, black with a black/red interior. 49k miles, asking price of 17700. A state away, in Georgia, there is a MY2002, 59k miles at a dealer, black with the full red interior (which I prefer) with an asking price of 16900.

I can't negotiate the carmax price, but I would get a warranty (correct?) The dealer could be argued down...

The MY2000 has less miles, and I would not have to drive nearly 200 miles to check it out..

Which would you choose and why?
