Default Bring it on winter!

I was one of the first ones in this country to get an S2000 back in 99. I have always had the benefit of having other cars (not beaters, just other cars) to drive during the winter months but over the past few years I have found driving them less and less enjoyable throughout the entire year and have always opted to drive the S. So I have pretty much been selling one of my cars every year since I got my S and this Fall I have found myself down to my last car: the S2000. So now that I dont have the luxury of having a winter car I have finally decided to winterize my S. This Saturday I am getting my hardtop installed and next week I am getting my Blizzaks installed. I also just bought nice warm and toasty winter driving gloves because I have been babied with heating steerings wheels.

Old Man Winter, I'm ready for you, whatcha got, bitch!?

EXACTLY! This was also my feeling. Why should I deprive myself of the enjoyment that this car gives me just because snow and ice happens to come along. I drove RWD cars in the snow when they were not anywhere near as well balanced as the S2000 is. This car is a joy and a thrill to drive in the snow. Winter in the snow belt is depressing enough. To have to drive a mundane vehicle or a POS would be just too painful.

(also got some used blizzaks for back-up if needed)

From what I've heard from the caterpillars, we are supposed to have a mild winter. Hopefully that means a few inches of snow now and again without any huge 3 foot dumps.

Your Honda dealer can order you one and put it in for you. If you look behind the oil filter and just above the engine mount, you'll see a very large nut. This nut is normally used in a coolant flush. The block heater goes in there and replaces that nut. It looks like one of those little heating elements that you put into a cup of water to boil it for tea.
You can see the block heater here (with the red connector):

Why did you bother with the all-seasons if you have Blizzaks?
