Default I think I found a good deal on and S2000...

... and I would like some opinions. I was in my local Honda dealer today and saw a 2000 S2000 with a hard top. They want $15,900 with ~69k miles and a 1 year warranty. It has a bunch of scratches on the bumper, but the salesman told me they would paint it once its sold. The hard top also had a few scratches and dents in it, guess the previous owner just threw it in the garage somewhere.

Well thats enough about the car, I would like to know from people with experience if this is a good deal and some things that I should look out for when I go back to check it out again. Any positive answers are greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I'd look for another one, I don't like the idea of a dented hardtop.

Ehhh.. yea.. the fact he would possibly treat an expensive item that way makes you wonder about the way he treated the rest of his car.. ;/

i have seen alot better deals for newer with lower miles.

plus, you can always talk them down. never buy on the spot. you'll be surprised at some of the offers they'll come back with.

I don't know... That's a pretty good price including the HT!

But, yeah, use your judgement.
