Default I wanna come back...but...

I am not sure if many of you have been following, but for the last few years I have been sick with the car bug. Here is a little history:
Currently own (since new) 1994 RX-7 R2 single turbo. BUT, it will not pass emissions and I am not very keen on making it pass either so it is locked up in the garage. I know, I know what a travesty. Give me a year or two and she will be out prowling the streets....
I bought my wife a 2002 S2000 (Stook opps sorry ) We loved that CAR, but we had to sell it since a baby was on the way.
Years later I bought a 1998 Supra TT which was great too. But, we had to sell that b/c another baby was on the way.

So now I am back in the market, in fact I have been for several years. But, I am not sure what to get. The Supra TT is and will always be a great car and I would like another one but the S2000 keeps pulling at my chain just as strong. In addition, the wife gets sad each time she sees one, which is a lot in NOVA. SO the question is buy a 2000-2003 black S2000 or buy a 1993-1998 black TT?

The TT is much more expensive (high 20+) but it does have room for small kids a big plus. The S2000 is not as expesive (mid 20s and down) but lacks the room. However, if I went with the Supra I would prbably sell the Forester XT, but with the S2000 I would keep it.

Please help!!!!

I'd keep the Forrester XT as the family car, and get an S, and tune the RX-7 lean to pass inspection - make sure the car is well warmed up before they begin the inpsction tests.

We also have a van for "real" family transport, but it is always good to have a backup (a car that can transport the kiddies when an emergency arises).

That is a great idea....

Every year I had trouble getting my RX-7 to pass. Number one, make sure the engine is HOT. Tune lean if you can.

Yeah, she will be happy, but how cool would it be to take the little one(s) to the park with the targa top off?!?

But then again, the wife is absolutely in love with the S2K...and she already makes me happy

Give me a few months and I let you all know what the choice is...

Just joined the group today. I just bought a 2003 in Berlina Black with the front and rear spoiler. It has 19,000km on it. Drove the Nissan 350Z, BMW Z4 roadster and Z3 roadster and coupe, but kept coming back to the S2000. I take delivery of the car tomorrow night. Have been lurking on this site for a couple of weeks, and thanks to everyone, as the discussions on this group were a big factor in my decision to go for the S2000. That and the fact that none of the other cars felt as lithe as the Honda.
