Default I'm back from a short s2000 hiatus.

This might seem out of place since I was largely active on the "other" s2000 forum but since that forum is rapidly dwindling in numbers I thought I would post my re-introduction here. Story is we had a 2002 Berlina Black S2000 that we bought for a song back in 2010. After 3 years of ownership and 30k miles we bought a house downtown and decided we did not need a second car and sold it this March:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/100...#entry22376052

Well, as it turns out, s2000 withdrawal is real and truly dangerous. I thought surely we could cure it with something less expensive, the "original" japanese britsh roadster. An early NA Miata, Limited edition no less. Here are the pics:

And while things are fine and good with the Miata (aside from being slightly cramped with the top up), after a few months and a couple spirited drives later I realized that the only thing that could fill that hole in my heart left by the S2000 was another S2000! Thinking that I should finally put the AP1 vs AP2 debate to rest (at least for myself) I opted for a 2006 SSM with red and black interior. 75000 miles and in very good condition save for one small chip/dent on the hood. A couple of the FS pictures and a big thanks to James, the previous owner for taking such good care of her.

So, in short, I hope to integrate into the s2ki community this time around, go on some more drives, participate in some trackdays/autocross, meet some more cool peeps. To end, My favorite picture of our old S to with fellow members Rmurphy and Dr. Jimbo

Thanks, it really is a great car but the headroom thing is truly an issue, despite being only 6 foot, I have no clearance when either top is on which makes it really no fun on bumpy roads with the factory bilstein suspension. Didn't want to perform a foamectamy on such nice looking seats

Thanks VP, hopefully you and some others from the "other" forum will have my back if a bar brawl breaks out. I love you custom avatar. Heard, you couldn't get the collection out for the big CR meet? Thats a shame. I can only imagine you are the only owner of 4 CRs.

Are you selling the Miata by any chance?
