Default I'm new!

Hey all,

I just picked up my S a couple days ago from another forum member. So far, I could not be happier. I have read through the new owners guide, and I haven't torn the car apart just yet but it will all get checked out soon. The only thing on the car that is an enormous headache is the aftermarket Viper alarm system that is driving me crazy, but it's just such a nicely balanced car. Everything feels very effortless. I hope to soon trade the wheels for stock wheels, swap to stock headlights, and grab a new windshield, then it'll stay much unchanged for a long, long time. The interior has been mostly swapped with an 06 red/black which I really like as well.

Edit: Holy life-size pictures, Batman.

The car looks great as-is! Subtle differences from OEM but there's lots of time for wheels/tires.

What headlights are those?

It's an 03 with just shy of 150k miles on the clock. There are definitely issues if you look hard enough, but I can be a pretty good selective photographer. I have been looking for the last year or so, and this was easily the best condition I'd seen in my price range especially since it was one of very few that had a clean title. Thanks everyone!

As for the headlights, I'm not sure. All I know is that they aren't very bright, and the light scatters very poorly. I've driven a lot of AP1's, and a couple AP2's and all of them had perfectly straight light cut off lines. This just kind of throws light all over the place. I'm sure other drivers on the road don't like me behind them.

Yeah, the front bumper is on the short list of things I like better on the AP2's, and my girlfriend likes the AP2 rear bumper. Someday soon I'll be able to trick a lot of people if I don't throw in AP1 headlights. haha. Welcome to you, too! How long were you searching for yours?
