Introduce yourself here!
Hi, my name is scho. Apparently, some other luck bastard with great taste in names already took that one, so I went with the color thing plus the name for some alliteration. Not all that great. Anyway, just call me scho.
So, I get rid of the 2001 TT, and I wanted something more fun to drive. Also, I used to build EG chassis cars, so getting back to Honda was like coming home. It's really nice to look under the hood and not only be able to name everything, but understand it all as well. She's a 2005 and still udner warranty, so I'll wait a little bit until the mods start. Definitely needs a turbo though. Nothing major, just something half bar as it's a daily driver.
So... sell me all your stock parts. I'm missing a few things, and it's always nice to have extras.

I'm getting close to making the decision to sell my Honda ST1300A motorcycle and purchase a used S2000. I really hate to sell the ST1300, but I'm getting to an age (65) where I shouldn't procrastinate if I ever want to experience a two seat top down sports car (modern one anyways). I'm retired on a fixed income so I've promised the wife only one toy at a time. I think I may in the future buy a cheaper used motorcycle after the shock of the car wears off the wife. Besides between a Honda ST1100 and the ST1300 I've ridden Honda ST's for over 9 years. So time for something different no matter what it is.
In the 50's and 60's my bother used to be a big fan of 2 seaters having owned a Triumph TR3 and a Sunbeam Tiger. Living in the Los Angeles area he refused to ever have the top up on either car. I have wonderful memories of driving both of those cars. I was into muscle cars during that time and realized later that I enjoyed his cars more then mine.
So as soon as my motorcycle sells I'll be in the market for a 2002 or newer S2000. I test drove one and sit in one every chance I get. It will be tight as I'm 6'2" and 214 lbs. It feels OK though so I believe it will fit well enough. After all it doesn't have to be very comfortable to be much more comfortable then long distances on a motorcycle. I plan to drive it all over the USA while trying to camp out as much as possible. The limited storage space is way more room then I ever had on my motorcycle so shouldn't be an issue.
I retired from Alaska Airlines so can fly free anyplace Alaska goes. So I can basically purchase a car anyplace in the country and drive it back. Would anybody know which part of the country has the best prices on S2000's

Hey all,
Having been a Honda lover for a couple of years, last year I went out and bought a Civic Type R, now this is one mighty car, don't get me wrong, I just needed to get my hands on the S2K!!!
Since the meeting with the sales guy, I can now say that I am in the process of trading in the type R and have opted for a Moonrock S2000 with Black/Red Interior - all I can say now is roll on Saturday 11th August as this is when I will be picking this baby up
Man, I am like a kid waiting for Christmas - I can't wait !!!!!
Anyway, This is my obligitory
post.
