Introduce yourself here!
Hey Everyone,
I've loved the Honda S2000's since they first came out, finally went through with the purchase a couple months ago. It's an absolute hoot, and I love it! Wish my commute was a little longer. :-)
Just joined the forum. Nice to meet ya.

Greetz back to Belgium!
And, to everywhere else where a newbie S2000 owner resides.
Enjoy your rides. These cars rock!
Reminder, since I haven't been around a lot lately... If you have an MY00 - MY03 (AP1) motor, please check your oil at every fill up. Normal oil consumption can leave you low. Just keep an eye on it.
greetings from glendale, ca
looking into an AP2 lease and with help from some of the members here hopefully i can get there... just need to sell my e39 first.
So why the switch from smooth 4 door BMW to high revving inline 4 honda?
simple: i was 18 years old when i got this car. always a fan of this body style, esp. the updated 01+ look with the angel eyes and rear LED tails... saw one with low mileage in exact color i wanted (Cosmos Black) and picked it up.
now, at the ripe age of 20 ( i know, i'm a youngin) i want to get into something more to my age. i swear i felt like an executive driving around in my 5 series sometimes...which is cool, but not really into that feeling anymore. My friends and family have always gravitated towards larger, european saloons. Actually, when i told them i started looking around S2000 forums and honda dealers, i could tell they were kinda like..."honda? why?" i told them to test drive one, and feel the awesome "snick-snick" feel of the gears as you shift. i love the cold precision of it; one test drive of an 07 rio yellow @ pasadena honda had me wanting to go home with it!

look forward to more posts here !

hey everyone. i'm awfully new to this site, and actually just started checking out the S2000. I think i'm pretty far from getting one, (about 3 years away) but i just wanted to know what is usually available at the dealerships. I was checking on the honda website, and i liked the options for all the body accessories, like the rear wing and front spoiler. Are there a bunch of those available on the lot? or would you have to get like a special order or something?
also, do a lot of people here install aftermarket parts by themselves, or is it generally safe/a better idea to get it professionally installed (i'd figure that'd be a waste of a lot of money). i'm trying to get into the whole understanding/working on cars thing for a hobby, and i'm trying to learn as much as i can (any pointers?!) if anyone has any info, let me know!! my email is rpanda88@yahoo.com, send me an email, id love to chat and find out more stuff! thanks so much everyone!

Hi! I bought an 05 GPW with 6800 miles last month. It came with many factory options like XM, front lip, side strakes, 8 cd changer, cover, etc... most of the factory options. I paid 26k for it.
I'm about to graduate from college, so I bought myself an early graduation present.

So I missed out on it. Now, you just need a good job to pay for the insurance!

Sounds like an excellant deal! I had the opportunity to get a blue one fully loaded with 3500 miles fully loaded for 27300... but as the car salesperson says...

HOLY CRAP. i just drove off the lot with an '07, NFR, 48 miles on the dial (6 of them were mine). it is SWEET. i put 90 miles on it tonight already, and already got harassed by some morons who wanted to race. screw that, i'm breaking it in!
soooo nice. so glad i purchased this car. it's amazing. i've never owned a RWD car, only FWD (nissan nx1600, nissan altima, acura rsx, acura tsx). i also got a .5% better financing rate (5.76% vs 6.25% through cap one), and didn't get pressured or hassled by the salesman nor the finance guy. brown's arlington honda, FTW!
