I am new to the board just registered today and got my 01 s2000 6 days ago. I did a lot of research on the car before I bought mine. I thank all the members who contribute information to the board so I well informed of things to look for that particularly go wrong or don't on these cars. Thanks again for all the help, this is a great community of s2000 owners and I am glad that I can now be a part of the community and contribute in any way that I can. I look forward to meeting many of you in the near future in person and online.

I bought my s2k 15 months ago as a replacement for my 1999 prelude 2.2 v-tec.
The car is bone stock ,apart from speakers in the headrests.
It is moonrock,has 28000 km and is a dream.

 

Wow, I forgot how huge the stock airbox is.

 

Hello All. Bought a 2002 with 39,000 miles on it. What a gas! I've owned three convertibles in the past, but this is absolutely the best-driving and best-performing car of the four. I love the handling and acceleration. Yummy!

I've been wanting an S2000 since I first read it was comming in 1999. Well as a father of two it never seemed to make since so I waited, but realizing that a good time to own a two-seater was never comming, and that in 7 years not a single car came out that I've wanted more, I finally got a red '05. I've had it six months now and I love it. I'm happy to say I've shown my tail lights to 1 350Z in the turns, and 1 G35 coupe, TT, and STI on the highway. I did get whipped by modded WRX from the stoplight one gloomy afternoon, but since I'm stock and he wasn't I can live with it.

Hi all, I am new to s2ki and my name is Jyoji. I am a japanese-chinese and am currently in Singapore. I've spent the last 3 years or so in Australia where i owned 2 skylines, a 380bhp street r33 gts-t and a 600bhp street/race r32 GTR. Letting go of the GTR was probably one of the hardest things that I had to do in my life after all the circuit and other motorsports events with it. But I am expecting delivery of a 07 s2000 before the year end now and am looking forward to a whole new different driving experience.

I was pretty active in the SkylinesAUstralia forums and in motorsport events and have met many nice friends and fellow enthusiasts, so I'm looking forward to a long and awesome stay here!
