Introduce yourself here!
Hey all, picked up an 02 Berlina Black S2K with 40k on the clock a few weeks ago. Love it!
I've been dreaming about one for several years now so its definitely a dream come true. I fell in love, the first time I drove one.
I also own a 91 Corrado G60 (hence the name). The Corrado is largely the reason I got into sport compacts (and a healthy appreciation for all things fast and sexy is largely the reason I avoided the anti-Honda stereotype so prevalent among VW owners.) I'm glad to now finally own a car that will get me to work every morning.
The Corrado I will keep and use for some fun front-wheel drive track duty, rally-cross and auto-cross.
Regarding my new baby, she is stock with wider rubber 225's in the front, 245 in the rear on stock rims. I plan on tweaking the suspension just a bit, but will leave her mostly stock. First mod will be to replace the air filter with something, dont know what yet. Its dirty and needs to be at least replaced with a fresh one. Next will come rims and tires. She will garage kept and largely kept out of the rain. Thats another reason the Corrado is still around.
Cheers,
Mike

I am new to the S2000 community. I have posted before at S2000.com, and decided to expand my horizon. I am happy to report that I am the proud owner of a yellow 05' S2000. I waited for about 1 year, until I could actually afford one, before buying my car, and I just love it. I'm happy to be part of the community.

Jose, newbies, welcome aboard!

Best wishes to all of you.
As we approach the fall season keep a very close eye on your tires. Stock Bridgestones get very hard in cool weather and will not have nearly the level of grip you've gotten used to through the summer. Consider winter tires if your temps regularly drop into the low 40s or lower.
And, for those who've recently acquired AP1 versions of the S2000 (MY00 - MY03), keep a very close eye on your oil consumption. THe AP1 engines had a tendency to burn oil (normally). Check your dipstick at every fill-up and add just a little bit at a time to get you to the top "X" on the dip (don't overfill either).

Well, I finally made the decision. It was hard moving from a Yellow Yamaha FZ1 thousand liter bike to 4 wheels. But it is a lot of fun to be able to bring the wife along on weekend rides and not sacrifice too much speed and performance!
Oh yea, and I still was able to stay with my favorite color...yellow.
Purchased a MY03 Yellow S2K with 31k mile and AP2 wheels.
I am looking forward to reading the many different forums and "get an education" of my new ride!
