Hi everyone, I'm looking into buying an S2K for roadracing and I'm curious on which year has the best to offer for the price. Mind you that I'm not really interested on the cosmetic because I'm really just going to gut the whole thing and race it out. I'm really interested in the engine and transmission. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Ive ha my s2000 since the summer now. I had 2 del sols (b16, b20/vtec) and a GST Spyder.
It is a 2000 Berlina Black with red interior. I was set on 2002+ but i found a really good deal on this one, plus it was in mint condition and really well taken care of (better than most of the '02+).
It has 60k (7k a year) and was owned by a 60yr old mechanical engineer (you get the picture).
I live in New england so its barely getting driven now. It is 100% stock as of right now.
Plans:
Considering HKS or Greddy TIC for an exhaust.
Password JDM Intake.
Berk Technology Test Pipe.
OEM AP1 front lip
TEIN Coils (not sure which yet)
Wheels (still in the market)
So nothing crazy as of right now, but it should be pretty fun

Bought myself a 2004 Suzuka Blue S2 for a late Christmas present to myself. It was "late" because I had to wait for the wife to go out of town. Those that are married understand. Looking forward to discussing many topics with you guys.

New owner of a S2 here. Been eyeing one for about 3 years and finally pulled the trigger and got one.
Did I score a deal on it too. Picked it up for KBB private party value from dealer and dealer didn't understand that the previous owner did $2500 bucks worth of mods to it.

jello, all. I am a Z lover, but appreciate the S2000 owners (and their vehicles). The Wake The Dragon trip aroused my interest in the S2000. (A small cabin-town with an S2k in each driveway would do the same to you too.)
p.s. "cuonice" has the sexiest s2k. followed by "clean"
