Matt/N8, welcome to S ownership, and welcome to the s2ki.com web site.

I'm sure you'll find vast amounts of information here that will help you enjoy your car even more.

The S is a natural for folks who've owned roadsters in the past. Fits like a glove. Your post reminds me of how I felt when I got mine.

Please be sure to read the owner's manual cover-to-cover -- that's a great start to get to know your car. And, yes, please follow the break-in recommendations there. Any questions, just holler, Nate.

Hello everyone, its great to join the ranks of so many S2000 owners! I just got my S last week, Mar 10 and I love it. It is a 2002, Sebring silver with 21500 miles on it. I have to say this is a great car and really enjoy it. I was a previous owner of a '97 DOHC VTEC delSol until fate separated her from me, minor collision+air bags deployed = totaled car, but totaled car + full coverage = S2000. So here I am... I really enjoy how the car handles and feels and the extra power is an added bonus! I had my delSol lowered with Eibach Sportline for an Integra so the ride was a little more stiff without that much of a drop which I liked, I also had Tokico adjustables and it was a nice ride and with some good tires stuck well to the ground. I can feel that in the S2000 and that is the main thing I was looking for, I truly enjoy driving. I have not really tested the limits of adhesion and hope to on some track days or maybe at our local SCCA event, can't wait! I also have to say that the digital speed indicator is nice and actually helps to keep me within our local speed limits I find it to be a great car to drive, the car feels solid but not kidney damaging and the power level is nice to have on tap! This is going to be my weekend car so I have not put to many miles on it, this is only my second weekend with it and I have out about 130 miles... 130 GREAT miles! I really look forward to being a part of the community and taking part in some of the events that are organized here.

Funny... The digital speedo hasn't helped me much with speed limits.

Welcome aboard, Iceberg.

Just picked up (used-1600mi) 2005s2k in Florida. Myself and co-pilot (Wife) drove home to Toronto. A great ride. I got lots of questions -after I get through reading stuff on this site. Looks good.

Guess this is a bit late, but I wanted to drop in and say 'hi'. I just sold a 2001 S2000, Silverstone with black/red interior. Beautiful car. But I'm going to stick around this site, as I have a feeling I'll be owning another some day.

Anyway, looks like you have a good following! A lot more owners than there were when I purchased mine six years ago!

Yes, it is a AP1... I did the AP2 conversion on it, that's why it was in the shop... Thanks for all the nice comments...

I am a new convert...I've had V-8's for the 30 years I've been driving and with gas prices getting up as high as they are I decided to take the plunge. I liked the S2000 since they hit the streets, but I never had any idea what a rocket they are until I got into a drag race at the Test & Tune night at our local drag strip in my moderately modded 98 Z-28....I ran a 12.86, he ran a 13.62. that was enough for me...I found a 2005 GP White at the local Carmax with 4957 miles on the odo and I am absolutely head over heels about this car....unbelievable. This car is more fun than anything I have driven...8000rpm....way too cool.

Hi, my name is Scott, and I will be getting my Brother's '05 S2k sometime next week. I am super pumped! The downside is that it is leased for 3 years, but he only had it for about 3 months so I'll get it for 2.6 years about. I am 18 years old, and ready to drive this car. I hope that I get a chance to meet some cool new people.

Thanks!
