Hey guys my name is jaymie denardo! First off I want to say that my s2000 almost fell into my lap.
So I was just minding my own business at work. And my buddy shoots me a text of pictures of this s2000 and asks if I want it. I say" of course i do, but I can't afford that" because I was building a jdm front white Acura Integra for 600whp. Well he decided that we can work out a deal and I asked him what that was exactly and he said trade cars. Plus a little cash on my end. We discussed and decided that 2 grand plus my running Integra. All it needed was a tune. And he agreed to do a payment plan for me over the course of 2-3 months as I just dropped 4 grand into the Integra.
But all said and done. I got the s2000 it is a 2003 will the full blown turbo kit on it and a haltech platinum pro stand alone. Gtx3582r, deatschworks 1300cc injectors. And a bunch of other stuff.
I should probably state before this. That he bought the car not running two years earlier. He didn't know what to do in the sense of fixing it. That's why he did this deal.
So continuing on... I've completely ripped this thing apart ceramic coated turbo manifold which is a sidewinder also cermic coated the downpipe. Got new 1300 cc injectors. Remade all the cooling and oil lines for the turbo since full blown (the mfg and installer of the kit) did a horrible job putting it together. Turned it over. And what do ya know. Bad headgasket. Haha loud hissing from intake manifold and oil immediately turned white and massive pressure through radiator.
Which brings us to today. I'm sending my head to get resurfaced. And waiting on l19 head studs and a new headgasket which I'm still deciding what gasket to get. It's a stock engine so standard bore still.
But I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the s2000 gang and still learning the tips and tricks with the s2000. And also. Want to share my experience and help others that need it !!

I have been a fan of the Honda s2000 for a long time ever since I saw a original 2000 ap1 in my inlaws garage a few years back and wondered what this amazing machine was. I started looking up all of the specs and information about it and realized jus how cool it was.
Now that my in laws are getting ready to retire he offered to sell me the car. This car is in near concourse condition and has been kept in a heated garage for 20 years. It only has 2k miles on the odometer, which is incredible.
I have alot of maintenance to do like change all of the fluids and oils and replace battery and tires.
Hey guys, Kevin here proud owner of an 03 suzuka blue with 128k miles. Previously had an fg2, that treated me well but I'm so glad I'm in Honda's absolute best build. Shes in ok conditions now but I need to talk to Mr. BILLMAN. TCT is leaking oil :/ thinking of replacing it rather than just buying seals. Hope all is well in the s2k world.
Hey everyone, new to s2k's, my girlfriend surprised me with an ap1 since ive been on the search for a while now lol. So far the cel was off (bulb blew) which then revealed a 4cyl misfire which i found was due to mis adjusted valves then i didn properly tight 1 lock nut down properly and it fell into my oil pan and i ended up dropping the oil pan. After that fiasco i got a p0411 code which i found the vacuum lines were directed improperly. This forums helped alot lately and now im in need of a tct and billman only replies here so here i am

After lusting over bmw's for many years,I've never owned 1 and find my self on my 3rd Honda instead
It is stock 05 Rio Yellow with 89000 kms. Will post pics a bit later on.
This forum has helped so much before even buying the car,looking forward to learning a whole lot more on here.

Just bought an s2k. 2004 berlina black. All original, stock, in pristine condition. 58000 km or 36000 miles. Well maintained by an okder guy who wouldn't even take it out in the rain. Got it for $30k cad after all taxes. Or $23k usd after all taxes. Seemed like a price i couldn't pass up.
