Default is300 here need help

ok guys i currently have an is300 and what can i say, its jut not fast enough for me . I don't want to put 8k into the engine to make it compete with faster cars, when i can trade it in for another car. My friend has an s2000, and i really like it. Now, without everyone being biased, can you give me a good reason why i should get an s2000. I want a fast car, I don't want to spend a huge amount of money to make a slow car fast. Is the s2000 really a good choice for me?

Sounds like an Evo would suit you better.

Or more practically, some domestic muscle.

The S2000 isn't exactly fast. It's no slouch, but I don't consider it fast at all.

evo is alot more expensive than my budget, and i like domestic muscle but handling is also a big part in the change i want to make, even though my is300's handling is not that bad

But you sound like you're into modding cars... You just don't want to get extreme.

An evo with the right minor mods (flash especially) will not only be much quicker, but less money to mod.

Parts, especially to do things "right," aren't cheap for the S.

So, you might be thankful that you don't have to spend nearly $2000 for an exhaust that actually makes a couple of ponies.

But this is all based on you not wanting to spend huge amounts of money. You need to spend it somewhere: the car or the parts.

I had an IS300 before the S2000 and thought it was a great car. Sure it wasn't fast, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to drive.

In many respects the S2000 is the same way. Sure it is quicker than the IS, but the real fun is in driving the car.

From a practical standpoint, the S2000 and IS are COMPLETELY different. One is a four door sedan and the other is a convertable. So if storage or capacity is an option, don't get an S2000. I can't imagine having it as my only car, even if I was living a bachelor's life.

What about an IS350? Everything you like about your 300, plus it is newer, more attractive (IMO), and faster than an S2000.

i also had an is300 before the S. i needed something a little bit faster and more trackable from the factory. the IS300 is a really good drift car IMO. if you decide to buy an S...it will take a little getting used to, but im sure you will love it.
