Default Just Picked Up an 07 Laguna Blue

So the very first S2000 I've driven was about a month ago when I saw one at the dealership and decided why not drive it for the hell of it? Needless to say, I was amazed, beyond amazed at the handling characteristics. Then I decided I'm going to actively start looking for an s2000. The idea is to get rid of my boring 98 Civic which is used as a DD, and supplement my '13 Mustang GT garage queen. My commute is ~100 mi/day and I figure I might as well spend that time in something fun. Now I realize some people here will say S2k > 5.0 and to put those crazy miles on the mustang instead. I'll most likely end up driving both equally. I had an initial budget of ~$11,000 +/- $1000, but soon realized I'll have to REALLY search and spend more for a good car, definitely not easy cars to find. I ended up finding an 2007 Laguna Blue with black interior about 4 hours away. I immediately called the dealer and ended up putting a deposit down and locking it in so no one else gets it. I was/am extremely uneasy about making a decision on a used car just by looking at pictures.......as we all know, pictures can lie. I will be on my way to pick up the car in about an hour and if all goes well, I'll be the owner of an S2000!

Pictures will be posted as soon as I get it back.

Nothing about an s2k is great for DD purposes. 07ish civic si would be a huge upgrade in your situation.

So I got to the dealership and learned there were 4 others in line behind me if I were to not buy it. The car turned out to be just as the pictures show, no real flaws to point out. Very clean and so I got it. Got lots of bad rain on the drive back to Houston so I drove carefully. I'll do a more detailed review of my driving experience a bit later.

Sorry no pictures yet.
