Default k24 new guy

Hey guys I've had this 07 s2k for like 4-5 years sitting without a heart. The plan was to just put an f22 back in and build it for time attack but plans changed and well 2 of my friends cars are stupid close to being ready for 2023. Went to order a f22 on ebay and prices really changed when I first picked up the car. Sooo kswap it is. My only concern is this is an 07. Is there any issues with the throttle body and all that with this swap? Is there any build threads using an 06+? I appreciate all your guys info.

I don't know of any detailed build threads for a K24 swap for a DBW throttle body, but there's going to be one in the coming year. I'm going to be pulling my F22 from my '08. DBW is definitely doable with aftermarket ECUs; I'll be using the AEM Infinity.

I asked this a bit ago also, and no answers

I did a little research...

With some cunning, I'm thinking this can be done with a 07+ CAN BUS TSX ECU with a flash pro. Or a 06+ Civic Si ECU with flash pro.

Both those cars have awful throttle mapping that I don't think the FP solves.

You can't run a K pro unless you do a cable throttle and a conversion harness from 06+S2000 to PRB RSX.

Those are your three emissions friendly options.
All require some sort of conversion harness that shouldn't be too hard to make.

Non emissions legal? Easy. Haltech or AEM. Custom wiring.

For the above reasons...I stayed F22. I bought a spare F22 also. Maybe I'll go K24 when I can register the car somewhere that emissions compliance is not a factor...or...just not drive the car on the street.

But I enjoy driving it on the street...so...

I'm very curious how that conversion harness is working. I'd be very interested to hear if anyone is using it and if it maintains all OEM functions. Also wondering if the DBW lags significantly. The DBW in the S is really good but I do know the 06ish civics were undriveably bad.
