King George VA LBP 08
I introduced myself previously* while looking for an S, and now I'd like to introduce my car. I purchased it late last July with just shy of 40k miles. It's nearly stock with 9 VINs (missing front bumper). Maybe it has a different cat, not sure, otherwise stock. I enjoyed a few months of warm weather driving before it turned cold. During the winter, I took advantage of every reasonable, dry day I could. The car's heater, along with jacket, gloves, lap blanket, and LLBean Baxter State Hat got me down to about 35F with the top down. Lovin' it! Now that it has warmed back up, I'm limiting my driving to commuting on days with no rain and joy rides with my wife. Hoping to have it for many years. I had been waiting to get it detailed before taking pictures. Finally got that done, so here it is.

Looks wonderful! Love Laguna blue compared to the Suzuka.
Were you able to fix the seat tears?
You need to replace the roof elastic straps (inside) before the roof hardware wears holes in the roof fabric. I've seen some vicious tears in the roof on cars that needed this.

Thanks. LBP is by far my favorite and the only one I considered. What do you mean seat tears? There are some crease lines in the driver's seat but I haven't noticed any seat tears. And I was just looking at the roof straps the last time I drove it wondering if I should.

Roof straps? Easy. Your roof ain't down all the way (properly). When it sticks up like that the frame will rub and eventually tear the fabric. The elastic straps are designed to move a set of frame bars out of the way so the roof can go all the way down. These don't last more than 3, maybe 4 years.

Thanks. I love the color. I love the tweaks Honda made over the years (despite the undestandable complaints of AP1 fans). One thing I've been surprised about is how *few* comments I get. Oh sure I get comments occasionally, but this is the greatest car ever. How come so few people notice?
