Default Late introduction

So after having owned it for 9 months or so, ( and after Hondagal stuck her head in the UK door) I thought maybe it's time to stop treating S2ki as a .co.uk and venture outside of the UK forums.

I read a lot of the other parts of S2ki and am always stunned by the range and quality of modifications that are done, I'm a little less happy with the way the UK pound compares to the US dollar but that's a UK issue . I've had some good advice from W1ngman, Art @ QUBE and inspiration from a good many more but this is the first proper post in the main forum.

My S is relatively standard compared to a lot on here and in terms of major performance modifications that's the way it is going to stay, it goes fast enough for me as it is

I came from the dirty fuel diesel world wanting something a bit more exciting to drive, my old car is something you won't see in the USA/Canada but was based on the Mk4 Golf platform.

Did quite a lot of work to it but it just wasn't 'fun' so it got stripped back to standard and sold, i had a friend who bought an S2000 and after polishing his up for him I was in love with the shape and that was it.

So, it's 2004 NFR GT that was bought in Augustish last year with 58k miles on the clock and is now approaching 68k miles. It's my daily drive so it doesn't get tucked away with heated blankets over the winter or when the sun decides an appearance is optional.

I spent the first 2 months of ownership driving around with the hard top firmly attached, I loved the GT car feel it gave but after constant badgering from the UK users it came off and a whole different car emerged.

As it stands now, the car looks like this;

Mods to date have been more cosmetic but include a cat back exhaust, dual catch cans, polished coil cover, black rocker cover, full LED upgrade all round, 6000k HID, white dash, red buttons, audio upgrades, black wheels and probably 60+ hours of polishing oh and a home saved PRM which i LOVE Got heated seat elements to fit as well as Clazzio black and red insert covers. and yes, the number plate relates to my forum name

My 'progress' thread is here - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...&f=25&t=713888

I don't have a lot of cash to throw at it so i'm not into fitting expensive tuner parts, I like to tinker on a budget and it's a close run thing between cleaning it and driving it as to which I enjoy more It's unlikely you're going to see anything you haven't seen before, but like everyone else who owns one, i've got the same bug as everyone else.

So that's my intro, sorry it's a belated one but better late than never

Oh and my upper lip ain't stiff and i prefer coffee to tea
