Hey guys,

I'm a long time mazda guy who finally made the move to my first S2000. Looking forward to learning a lot. After so many years with mazdas it's a little intimidating trying to learn all the intricacies of this Honda motor but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

So, in the past I've owned an 88 RX7, a 2000 Miata, a 99 turbocharged Miata, an 04 RX8 and a 2016 Miata which I traded for the s2k. I still currently own a 94 twin turbo 5 speed FD RX7 and an old b2000 beater truck so I haven't given completely up on my mazdas yet. Lol

I recently bought an 02 silver S2000 with 57k miles. It's in wonderful shape and other than a carbon fiber cooling panel above the radiator it's completely stock. I love the motor and driving experience. Looking forward to learning lots. Also, anybody in Arkansas that wants to go for a drive or needs help working on stuff definitely let me know!

They're both very close handling wise with the edge in steering feel going to the RX7. The rx7 is not on stock suspension though so it isn't an apples to apples comparison. My fiance drives a 2011 Cayman which gives them both a run for their money. Of the 3 though, I would take the drop top s2k every time for back road fun.
