Thanks for the response.
i have been keeping tabs on the 2019. Its promising.
i love the s2k but the more time passes, the less i want to drive it on the street. Trying to keep it pristine. I like the idea of a new ND with low miles, ive been ripping in my s2000 for 11 yrs now !! Im scared with the parts becoming discontinued as well.

I totally get that part of it too. One of the double edged swords of the miata world. You can beat on it and abuse it and not worry about keeping it pristine because they make a billion of them. Parts are cheap and they're super easy to wrench on. Also the community is fantastic. But it's never gonna be as special and unique as the S2K. Cause they make a billion of them. Also if you buy new or almost new you will have the temptation to leave it mostly stock for a while due to warranty. That part sucks. Lol

You can't go wrong either way. They're both great cars and I think you would be happy with either one.

One more thing, if shopping used NDs, especially the MY2016, do some reading on transmission issues guys have been having with them when tracking and autocrossing.

Good luck!
Dylan
