You mean your mom took back her RSX right?
What do you plan on doing with the car? If it's for your only car and a DD, I wouldnt get a salvage title one. If you ever want to re-sell it, it will be very difficult, especially if you get the mod bug like a lot of us. If it was for a track car or something, it would be great to tear apart and built it peice by peice.
IMO, I would wait and find one that you really want. Find one with decent mileage, a color you like, ect.. instead of just jumping on the first cheaper one you find. I have seen a few 00-01 s2000s down around 8k, and that is dirt cheap for one. If you don't plan on spending at least that much on one, you don't need one right now. Save up until you can get something you will absolutely love.

lmao yeah she took back her car she bought me and i told her i didnt want it anyways dont get me wrong it's a nice car. It's going to be my DD, and i understand what your saying about re-sell thats why i never look at rebuilt titles but i just had to ask.BIG QUESTION how are 00-01 some people tell me there super bad and not to look at them
Whoever said that 00-01's are bad and not to look at them is on crack, sorry. If you're getting an ap1 (00-03) most people just prefer an 02-03. They have more options such as the glass rear window, leather console cover, and multiple smaller things. They are an upgrade, but that doesnt mean a 00-01 is bad. It still has the exact same body and engine. If your on a budget, that is the way to go since 02-03's are usually a little more expensive.
what about the back window i have heard a couple things about that but my friend said you can clean it from the fogginess are there any fixes if i got one with that problem but i'm try to get around that.
Well I have an 02 with a glass back window (and have a hardtop also) but I havent really seen a fix for the foggy rear plastic window. If I remember correctly, the plastic windows can unzip and you can replace them with new plastic. I don't know how true that is though since the rear glass ones are sewed in. If you are really that concerned about it, do some searching and you will find your answer here. Most guys just end up buying a new soft top (usually EZ on, or Robbins tops) brand new with a rear glass window. You can get those for under a grand.
You could always save up and buy a hardtop also, that way you don't have to worry about it.

I was looking for a S for months and finally found one last saturday. From what i've seen most of the s2000s 10g's and under have rebuilt titles(atleast in the south). Now personally I didn't want to even consider a rebuilt title s but if you have a small budget I would consider a salvage one. Just check the car out VERY good and try to find out if it was in a serious accident or if it was just a theft, meaning the seats were probably stolen.
