Default Maybe a new s owner

I have always loved the s2000. I just never had a chance to own one. I have been really looking at getting one now. All the ones i've been seeing are around 75,000 or more miles. How well is that? I just don't want to get into one and then everything starts breaking. Also i live in a apartment complex and don't have a garage. Do they get stolen alot do to the soft top or i shouldn't worry? What should i be looking for when i look at one? Like maintenance wise? If i end up getting one before April i am already planing on going to the dragon. lol

The S can be a target for theft of seats or the entire car depending on where you live. I wouldn't be worried so much about the mileage on the car as I would the history of maintenance/care given the car. If I were you I would wait until you had a place to safely keep a car that seems to attract undesirables. My 2 cents.

In my opinion, a good theft can break into/steal any car no matter what it is. I park my car outside with and without the hardtop and have had no issues. Invest in a good alarm and cross your fingers

My 2004 has 103k miles and runs perfect. No issues at all. If an s is treated right and maintained it will run forever.
