Hey guys- I like to say that I am a proud owner and I love the experience so far. My first roadster.

I hope to attend future s2k meets and meet some of you all. The car currently has 100k miles and the motor tranny run smooth. Hopefully I will get perform full tune up shortly after my business trip.


The softtop has one minor tear but its about to become major as time progress. any advise where I may consider getting quotes locally to get the soft top vinyl replaced at a good deal?

most of us, just get a hardtop

also as new owners i feel like i need to impart some wisdom.

1. full coverage insurance
2. seat locks
3. garage

granted this ain't a 100 percent way of making sure your car isn't messed with but, it will reduce the possibility of you becoming a victim.

a lot of owners who live in apartments without garages or park their car outside usually find their top slashed and seats and other random interior pieces stolen. the seats alone have been known to total out 00-05 s2000's due to how expensive they are. 06+ are up in the air.
Other than that, have fun enjoy one of Honda's most unique cars in the last decade

I'm surprised myself that I had a soft top for over a year and never got knifed or seats stolen. I guess it depends on the part of town you stay in though.
