Miata convert checking in!
Hey guys
Just wanted to introduce myself, I just purchased a new to me 2003 Honda S2000 with 128,000 miles. The car came with Bilstein PSS9 coil-overs. The car can't even make it up my drive way at this point it's not slammed but its low..
So I had a few questions:
1. What tires do you like for comfort and traction in the rain? *stock wheels
2. What adjustment to the coilovers should be done? any specific measurements? max raise both sides? Again I am looking for function over performance at this point.
3. Any way to counteract the dreaded snap over steer on the ap1? any suspension adjustments? tires? (I took one really nice turn last night and my God does this car give you confidence!
4. I have the stock suspension but I'm assuming it has over 100k miles, should I forget about making the PSS9's work? and go with the stock suspension?
I know a lot of this goes against your instincts as S2K fans, but I'd love to be able to drive this car without worrying about scratching every under body panel.
Let me know and thanks for your help!

Welcome to the club! You're joining a bunch of miata converts, myself included. While I can't give specific advice to the PSS9's my guess is your thought about raising it up would be a good move. If I couldn't find ideal rideheight for PSS9 by searching I'd probably shoot for close to stock height. I believe there's a bumpsteer kit to tame the "snap oversteer" or "throttle lift oversteer" as some call it but I have an AP2 so have not looked deep into that matter.

Welcome! Nice looking ride you've got there! I'm a Miata convert too. Had 2 back in the day, but swapped to an S 8 years ago. Still wish I had a Miata, but would never lose the S to get one!
The best way to avoid "snap oversteer" is don't lift or otherwise shift the weight of the car forward during a corner. Essentially, don't go in too hot. It's definitely a thing, but not as hard to avoid as you might imagine from just reading posts.
