Might buy an s2000 and a couple of questions.
Oh and by the way I am definitely not buying this s2000! They were completely trying to scam me. I talked with the manager and he said that the car was being sold as is! I am now fighting to get back my $700 they took as down payment even though I never signed the form for it.
I think I am picking one up from another place. It is older and has more miles, 01 with 69k miles on it. I test drove that one and it felt great and looks great. Clean carfax, 1 owner always local, all maintenance done. No dents or rust or anything. It is for $13,500 so think I am going to go with that for now. Its silver with black and aftermarket 17" wheels and new tires. Shifts great, idles perfect, brakes seem great, no oil leaks or anything. No smoke. Seems very nice.

Sounds fishy, this car should not shake or do anything funny under acceleration. I have driven 3 different S2Ks (2000 and two 2007s) and been passenger as well while racing. These cars are smooth as silk. Go for the 01. If it is a Honda dealership call their corporate office tell them what is going on. If they get a call from head quarters their tune will change in a second. Mustangs are way to sloppy in handling for my taste and probably no where near as safe at high speeds. The interior seems very cheap and plastic for me. The S2K looks way cooler imo. For me it's a no brainer. But consider the source since you are on an S2K forum.
