Mitsubishi guy soon to be new S2K owner
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself since ill be searching these forums a lot more in the near future. Ever since i've been able to drive i've been a die hard mitsubishi guy and have owned only mitsubishi since then. However, i do have a soft spot for these s2000 and i cant shake it off. I currently own a 1997 Eclipse GSX (387hp/355qt), 2003 Evo 8 (400hp/400qt) and a 2000 Galant (beater/parts getter). Long story short one of my good friends has been nagging me about selling my evo to him and I've finally said yes. We are just waiting on a good time to meet up and the car will be his. With this money i'll be finally getting my hands on an s2k (almost bought one three years ago). My boss owns an 2003 black on black AP1 with 60,000k on the clock that he never drives, i swear i've seen this thing move about three times while working here. He takes it out on weekend only but still, I'd be all over that everyday. He has low-key been wanting to sell it but has never posted it up for sale. I asked him about it and we are on terms that I'll be taking over it as soon as my Evo is gone. I absolutely love how these things drive and how they're so driver focused. Even though they lack in the power division (from what i'm used to at least) they make it up with handling and lightness. I'll be looking forward to tracking the hell out of this thing after maintenance are done of course and enjoying the sun and wind with the top off.

The eclipse was and will always be my go to car so i wont be parting with that ever. Its currently sitting at 157k and once i hit 200k on it im going full on track car with it. As for the evo, it's an amazing machine that i might get back into one day, who knows. All I can think about right now is getting that s2k under my name, my boss has been letting me drive it and I'm falling in love with it more and more. I love the fact the he has all the service records on it and that its completely stock! Im going to be doing a compression test on it soon so im hoping for good things with it.
