What are the entries for? Fifteen seems excessive - what are the entries? Can you post the report text here? As a buyer, you should expect the seller to provide you with a Carfax, but get one yourself if the buyer doesn't. Never heard of Autocheck.

Carfaxes don't record everything - you should still get the car checked out for mechanical soundness and body work. If you get a 1 yr subscription, check every three months to see if any work gets reported.

PS - if you do buy a multi car subscription, will you run this VIN: JHMAP21454T002312 and pm me the results?

Interesting that it was sold at auction.

You should basically work a screaming, hot deal on this car. If you don't get your price, walk. (just my opinion)

Hate to bring back a week year old thread, but I just wanted to update anyone who might be in the same situation as me. I decided against the JHMAP11441T006311 car because of the mileage and am now looking at a 05 model with 6,000 miles. I ended up paying for the unlimited CarFax reports because despite popular belief, a vehicle history report does give some sort of peace of mind. Interesting how people are quick to dismiss these kinds of vehicle history reports but as soon as they go car shopping, they'd like a report, albeit they usually want them for free. The way I look at it, if you
