Good info, Munnerlyn. Thanks for the research. We'll have to spread the word.

Wish I had one now! (Neb was covered in snow last weekend, and I'm just digging him out now!)

I just bought a new MY06 S2000 Suzuka Blue (14th Jan) and had them include a hard top - cost was $2995 but they are doing the install (hope this won't be a mistake). Not sure what MSRP is.

Dealer did mention that Honda did not have the hard tops in stock and it would be 2-3 months until it came in. I told him, he might want to check on that since I heard Honda had started production again. Received a call the next day that Honda did have the hard tops and mine was being shipped out on the 26th (yesterday) with an expected arrival the week of 6 Feb.

HT is usually around $2800, I think, TGO. So that's not completely unreasonable. Sounds good!

My hard top was installed yesterday and looks great. It was the show stopper of the day at the dealership (living in eastern NC there are not many installed/around). Even my wife said "wow" when she saw it.

In the short time that I have had it, I can report a decrease in the interior noise while driving. As expected you do gain more visibility in the rear and a less closed in feeling. Great addition to the car if you have the extra money and live in a cold or semi cold (seasonal) climate. My intentions are to install it on or about Thanksgiving each year and take it off around the end of March. So a hard top for 1/3 of the year and a convertible the other 2/3s.

I hated the all blue interior as well. This is what I did to mine.
