I hated the all blue interior as well. This is what I did to mine.

There really isn't an "all blue." My 2005 "all blue" has a black steering wheel, black trim on the console, black door handles, black air vents, black shifter & boot, black roof, black rubber trim, black tonneau, etc... I like it.

And, I do prefer your customized version better than the 2006.

I like your black inserts, Blue_S2. Looks nice. If you could get the seats to be two-tone (blue wings, black middle), that'd really be the height of coolness (IMO), but that's a hefty amount of stitch work and labor. I like what you did.

Anyway, as one who has lived with the "all blue" interior for 4 years, I can honestly say that though I was concerned I'd stop liking it, that hasn't happened. Of course, that's a personal thing.

I love my "all blue" interior. Its one of the reasons I went with the Suzuka. I have to admit, the Blk dash and door inserts look good.

That's pretty much what I had in mind, sleepy, although I'd go with the "inverse" color scheme for your car... black tush/back cushions with the surrounding shell in blue.

Anyway, it's all good. Thanks for the awesome pix!

Thanks. There is a site that sells quality leather seat covers that are two tone. I cant remember the name off hand but another member bought black and blue covers. They looked freaking great. I believe a set costs somewhere around 500.00. Well worth the money. Here is a pic courtsey of sleepy.

blue_S2, do you happen to have more pics of this car? maybe a pic that would show the entire interior, like the pics of your car you posted? i was interested in adding in some black to the interior. i was originally gonna go with something like the picture above, but after seeing yours i think i like that better.

how hard is it to swap out...

- the carpet
- door inserts
- dash?
