Default My First S2000

I'm new to this forum and I would like to introduce myself. I'm 25, from Omaha Nebraska, a DJ & Producer. I've always dreamt of owning a S2000 eversince they debut. Thinking I would earn enough money by the time I'm 30 and purchase one. Due to a terrible accident I acquired one much quicker... I risked my life for it!! jp. I used to own a 1999 Milano Red Prelude, though I still really miss. I flipped it on the highway trying to avoid a deer. Anyways got the check and dumped some cash in for my dream car! I couldn't pass up the deal. Black on Black 2000 S2000. I got it used for $16,300 with 42k miles. I've already have some plans for the 04' conversion and prepping it up for autocrossing. Anybody here from the mid-west region?

California here...welcome to the club.

Man I wish I was having dinner at Famous Dave's tonight downtown.
Yep in Omaha. I get there once or twice a year, well the airport that is, famous Dave's if I can and then it's north for me to Sewer City.

Anyway enjoy your new ride. Remember it may only be a spring, summer and fall car for you.

Welcome aboard!! Sorry to hear that your Prelude got wrecked. Good to see that you got your dream car.

BTW - I'm also apart of the "buttload of people" that have had (or currently) owned Preludes .

Thanks everybody. I feel kind of bad... I've only had the S2K for a couple weeks... and you're right PayYourToll, I don't miss the Luda! haha. Actually, the Prelude was my first too, it got me all started in Honda. Wish they could bring it back.

Welcome and have fun driving and modding it! You're right, the S does have that effect on people- making them forgetting about their last car.

Part of the buttload right here. 3 generations of early Ludes, as a matter of fact!

The S is a helluva car though. Enjoy it.

Oh, with the MY00, you have to watch the oil usage. Check your dipstick at each fillup. It's normal, but the S has an appetite for oil.
