My Introduction
I'm looking into the S2000 and thought I would go ahead and join the site seeing how I will be asking alot of dumb questions (j/k) I know how to use a search button. I've been around Honda's forever and currently drive a Honda Fit. With the wife thinking about buying her own Fit, I won't need the family wagon anymore. So tell me somthing, for those of you who drive the S2000 daily, is it comfortable? Yes/No, Size/Weight? I'm 6'4" and 240lb, that's why I ask. I fit like a glove but I'm not sure if I will get cramped after a few months. I only drive about 50 miles a day to and from work so it's not like I will be taking it cross country.

Well I drove an 02' today. With the top on I had plenty of head room but noticed how much I had to lean forward to see when the light turned green. It had a firestone oil filter, tires where 225 in the back and 205 in the front and had a nice little rattle in the rear end. Fun as all heck when you get up into VTEC but I knew this was not the AP1 for me. It's been about five years since I drove one and I didn't realize how much fun they were. I know now that I have to be perticular when it comes to the right "S" for me.

For sure! I've done my research and won't settle for less than the 02' or 03'. I just hope I can find one in my price range that is in good shape. How can I tell if the rear diff. has had it's fluid changed? Is there anyway I can "feel" it? Or hear it? That's the main thing I'm worried about if they don't have any service records.
I don't know of anyway to tell other than draining the fluid. If you find the right one then take it toa shop you trust to flush the diff fluid and if you find metal shavings (not the gray grime that builds on the drain bolt) then stay away.
