I finally bought an '05 silverstone with 46 k miles for $21 k in mightyfine condition. It was a fair price to both the seller and to me I believe. Having just retired and moved from Maine to Tennessee gives me more top down driving time. I've been reading this forum for about six years to gather info on this car, and have been watching craigslist, so I finally pulled the trigger on one of these rigs. I'm happy. Two days after I bought it I noticed an Article in USA Today titled " the top ten most collectable cars in the past 30 years". The good ole S2K made the list. They ballparked it for $25 k.
Congrats on the purchase! Thats a killer deal. I also just recently bought my 2005 in Suzuka Blue for 20k. It has 58k miles but im also in CA so that premium tax haha. Enjoy this car its one of my favorites.
