My New S2000 and VinylWorx.com Promo Car
I have been an owner of an S2000 since June 2009, but last month I was rear ended. Within a week I was able to sell the damaged car as is and buy another one. Although this new one has a rebuilt title, all the car really needed was some TLC. I just finally got around to taking some pictures of the car to show you guys
I figured it's about time I introduce myself around here rather than to just to the PacNW crew.
About Myself:
My name is Calvin and I live in the beautiful pacific northwest that is Washington. I currently go to a community college and work full time. 20 years old. Currently lifestyle is like a nomad, I haven't been able to live in one place for more than 10 months due to various reasons, such as lease is up or bumming off rooms from people. haha.
The car has also become Vinyl Worx's new promo car for their vinyl's. Some of you will probably give me crap about putting vinyl's on my paint, but I don't really care.
Car is a NFR 2001 and I picked it up for 7800.
Mods when I bought the car:
Skunk2 lowering springs
Ingen Cold Air Intake modified into a short ram intake
Carbon fiber cooling plate with mold for snorkel
AP2V1 spray painted gold
AP2 rear bumper
AP2 exhaust
AP1 front lip
Pioneer deck
aftermarket component speakers
Cons of the car when i bought it:
A/C doesn't work due to kinked A/C lines
1 blade broken off from A/C fan and another blade hitting the shroud
Needed an alignment bad
Steering wheel was off center
Faded side markers on AP1 taillights
Passenger seat is leaning to the left
A few lights on the right control unit of the steering wheel are out
Missing keyfob
Only 1 drilled and slotted rotor
Things I've put on/done to the car since I bought it:
Gotten an alignment
Volk Time Attack TE-37's
Skunk2 Shift knob
300mm Broadway convex mirror
Death Monkey
unplugged the A/C fan
Planning on removing whole A/C system
Vinyl's from Vinyl Worx that I have added to the car:
"You Like This"
Rice Cooker
VinylWorx.com
Seattle building outline
JDM Panda
lowNslow
Shocker
Vietnam Flag

Ok have to ask this question. What's up with young guys in Hondas especially civics having "shocker" signs on their car. Any older guys google it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shocker_(hand_gesture) I mean, its like juvenile fart humor or something? I don't get it?
yeah i know its kinda stupid. was a little hesitant about putting it on, but at the time he was just starting up his website and didn't have much of a selectioin so i just went ahead with it.
