My (soon to be) baby
Hey S2000 Nation,
For a long time, I have scoured the internet, searching for S2000s. I have just about watched every YouTube video there is... You could say I have racked in some computer, iPhone, and iPad hours. It was my "dream car" you could say. The only problem was... I drove a 2006 Hyundai Sonata (which was an excellent car) that I was having an, especially, hard time trying to sell.
I had a little fund stashed in the band account that I would throw a couple of bucks into every now and then, but it was slow coming and progress on selling the Sonata was frozen.
About three weeks ago, as I was leaving my neighborhood, an elderly gentleman decided to dart out in front of me when I had the right of way, totaling my car. The accident was not my fault and me and the gentleman are both okay (thank the lord)...
Its just ironic how some things work out in life.
So I've been on this car hunt for three weeks, and my mind was really on getting a Classic Ford Bronco (66-77). Man oh man, what a sweet ride. I really wanted one, but my father (the advise giver) thought it would be in my best interest to get a car. Reason being for better gas mileage.
If there was one thing that I learned from driving a four door car, it is "friends = mess!" So, I thought long and hard about what the smart move was, and what would ya know?....
I just bought a perty ol' S2K

(I figured it would be an easy car to take care of, good on gas... and wouldn't correlate to me being the town chauffeur)
I'm flying down Monday morning, and bringin'er on back to the ville! Super excited! I've never ever sat in one before!!
Glad to be a part of the S2ki forum and ready to meet new members!
