Default My very first S2K

Hello everyone, I picked up my 06 ap2 from Jacksonville Florida in late October of last year and have been a dedicated lurker to this site to learn all I can about this fantastic car.

It didn't take long to decide on this purchase as I come from a family of Honda owners, but this is indeed my first drivers car.

When I pulled off from the dealership the car was all ready fitted with a cr front lip, vented hood, rear fender flares, as well as ROTA grid 18x7.5 wheels sitting on spoon lowering Springs.

The mods I have done since the purchase are a Mugen cat back exhaust, PWJDM intake, new staggered Enkei wheels and Buddy club n+ coilovers and I can safely say I've fallen in love with the car even more than I could have imagined!

I'm doing my homework on the car and have a few more plans for her once it starts to warm up!!
I'm really excited to be here and hope to meet some of you soon!

Da hell! never seen a hood spacer before. Good buy and good job for removing those hideous things!

To be honest, the spacers were installed to compensate for the power chamber on the intake but I gave in and removed that part of the intake all together. It's not worth cutting into the hood for an intake snorkel.

I had spacers on my last s2k. With the 1st gen inline pro turbo kit, the turbo sat close to the firewall, the spacers allowed some of the heat to escape and cool everything a little more. I didn't believe all the hype, but they did a study in hondatuner about three years ago that proved it worked.
