Hi! My names Kyle and I recently had an 06 STi, but got into a bit of trouble... I have always loved the S2000 and finally picked up an 03 Suzuka Blue S2000. So far, I'm loving it!
I do want to mod the S2000 a bit, but for the most part I want to enjoy the car. I would like to go I/H/E very soon, but don't know which I should get. I want nice gains, but I don't want a droning exhaust... Any recommendations would be great!

Sorry to say it, but unless you spend a lot of money, you will have a hard time getting decent gains from the stock set up - the car is highly tuned already, and the biggest bang for your buck will be different gearing and a supercharger, but not IHE alone.
I would look at getting 4.57 gears then - probably the best bang for your buck as the car will respond much more aggressively (or so I've heard). My down the line mods include gears first, then maybe a sc later. You may also want to get a counter sunk shift knob from Rick's or Muz, or a short-shift rod.
^ gears are a popular mod, but it's very hard to get more HP out of the stock engine naturally aspirated. Intake and exhaust will help. Headers help, as to test pipe (but I don't recommend the latter because you shouldn't remove your cat).
The coolest NA mod is individual throttle bodies (ITB), which is a wicked expensive thing to do.
Anyway, hunt around S2000 Talk and Under the Hood forums for ideas.

^ I have been going through loads of the threads in the Under The Hood forum and I am starting to pick and choose what I want exactly.
It looks like for intake, I will be getting a AEM V2 and exhaust will be the Jay's Racing 60RS (I believe that is what it is called). I have been looking around at the headers, any suggestions on a header?
After I get those mods done, I will take a break and enjoy the car more as it is. Then, I will get a throttle body and go to either 4.44 gears or 4.57 gears. After that I may do a few things to the exterior and get some wheels, but other than those things, I will consider the car done. I really just wanted to enjoy the car this time around. I have had both a show Celica and a semi built up STi. Both cars I never got to enjoy cause there was always something going wrong and I would be working on the car.

^The S2000 isn't as fast as my STi was, but I went into buying the car knowing that. My STi would pull semi modded LS1s and other V8s. However, the S2000 is faster than I thought it would be stock. Where it lacks in speed, it more than makes up for in every other way it could. The ride is much better (coilovers and daily driving don't mix well) and the convertable is awesome.
So far, I like the S2000 more than I ever liked the STi.

FWIW, some of these aftermarket exhausts (don't know about Jay's) drone like hell on the freeway around 2500 to 3K on the odo... Just be aware that you're almost certainly going to be a whole lot LOUDER than stock. Sometimes that's a good thing.
