Hey guys I'm faced with a dillema. I found a listing for an ap1 my01. His price is $8000 with 5k miles. He needs to sell it because he is losing his hearing and is unable to drive. The problem is it is in canad, and I amd located in ca. He offered to pay for shipping as well. But I wanted to look at the car first, and make sure he is legitimate. Any advice?

 

Just make sure you see the car in person and if he tries to prevent that from happening it's probably a scam.

 

$8k with 5k miles...sounds too good to be true.

Walk away. I just saw a MY02 w/5200 miles in the F/S forum here. $22,000. Not saying that's the right number either but the truth for both is likely somewhere in the middle.
