Your plight is not over yet. She is going to store this moment away and use it against you for everything she wants for the next 10 years.

I highly recommend that you make reservations for dinner (somewhere nice that she likes) get dressed up and take her out at night with the top down (windows up will prevent her hair from getting messed up).

If that doesn't do it you will have to make a trip to the jewelry store.

When a woman says "yes", you should always read, "ok, but you're gonna pay for it later." Almost always, she will bring it back up during an argument over some completely unrelated subject.

Anyway, congrats on the new S

Very true. I went through the same thing with my wife and it took me a couple of weeks to convince her. The saleman called a couple of times and finally I said to him you dont look like my wife and I dont sleep with you. He stopped bothering me untill I came in to buy. My friends give me crap but hell us married guys know how it is. Besides half the time I have a great fri saturday night with the wife and my friends tell me how drunk they got and how many good looking women were out that none of them did anything with except made asses of them selfs. Its worth keeping the wife happy.

My Boss goes throught this everytime he wants a new car, he always gets after about a week. He said when I get married I should have a pre-nup that states I can by any car I want without anyone's input. We both drive about 50k miles a year, so we get new cars about every 2.5 years. I have already addressed this with the GF and she has accepted it.

I agree. I had my car for 6 months before the wife finally rode in it. We fought over it constantly. One trip to AC with the top down... haven't heard a peep since.
